Puzzle Piece 2/4 – Once you reach the ice ramp, instead of proceeding forward jump down to the right where you can find this puzzle piece under the platform you’re meant to jump to. Puzzle Piece 1/4 – Right after getting into the spring suit, charge a jump to the left to break through the glass to find this puzzle piece. Puzzle Piece 1/4 – On the lower floor of CPU Plaza, pull the three wires on the platform in the corner by the ramp down to reveal this puzzle piece.
Astro’s Playroom is as old as the PlayStation 5, and this is most likely the first game new owners booted up. Despite being a brief experience, this is the kind of game that can be played with family members and is worth playing in 2025. Vita Game Packs could also be used on the PlayStation TV, which meant it wasn’t a digital-only platform like the PSP Go was. The PlayStation 3 used Blu-Ray discs as its optical storage method, a format that would be used for the PlayStation 4 and 5 as well.
With an experience like this, it’s no wonder that Astro Bot has a devoted following so much that a full-length game is coming soon. If you haven’t played this gem, enjoy the pinnacle PS5 experience. Having the rewards be items that we grew up with tugs nostalgic heartstrings — and each model is rendered perfectly. The PSP reward is so detailed that it feels like Team Asobi could have placed your old childhood PSP into the game.
Then throw the capsule at the blue cloud as shown in the second picture below. Astro’s Playroom was the final game released by Japan Studio before their dissolution in April 2021. Team Asobi was formally spun-off into an independent studio within Sony’s PlayStation Studios in June 2021. A full-length sequel, Astro Bot, was announced on May 30, 2024, and was released for the PlayStation 5 on September 6, 2024. Finally, as much as I adore Astro’s cute nature and attention to detail with its celebration of PlayStation nostalgia, I would have loved a more considered narrative on top of all that. There was once a time when pack-in bundled games were regarded as the very best games available for that new console.
Skate Story Review – The Best Skateboard Game Of The Decade
While none of the sequences are terribly difficult, there’s enough of a challenge here to keep me busy for around six hours as I chase the Platinum Trophy. Adding the PS5 Pro Artifact could be a good excuse for players to return to Astro’s Playroom. The game also has one of the easiest platinum trophies on PS5, so completing all levels can be quite rewarding as well.
Platform
To unlock this trophy, your total time across all 8 levels must add up to 7 minutes or below. This might sound tricky, but with a few tries, you’ll be able to earn this trophy with no problems. Each level also features a suit of some sort he puts on to take the form of something else, such as a spring-loaded robot or even a large metallic ball, reminiscent of Marble Madness. These segments are relatively short-lived but do a good job of shaking up the formula so the running and jumping doesn’t get too stale too quickly. Puzzle Piece 1/4 – Right after getting into the spring suit, jump to the left and land on the button to raise some platforms, then jump up to the left again to find this puzzle piece. Puzzle Piece 2/4 – After reaching the first wire pull while going up the wall, jump up off the left side of the tilting platform to reach this puzzle piece.
You can also find iconic characters like Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter, as well as more niche PlayStation games like Vib-Ribbon. Discovering them all truly defines what it means to go on an Easter egg hunt, and I’ve barely scratched the surface with what I’ve mentioned here. When you first get your PS5, you’ll be able to set up the system, sign in, and immediately begin playing Astro’s Playroom.
As you get better at playing games, you’ll get better at being able to make things up as you go. Aside from being https://tg8899.net/ , Astro’s Playroom is also a game that was clearly made with a lot of care and passion. Each world is themed after a particular computer component, and one of the main goals is to collect secret items that are all pieces of classic PlayStation hardware. There’s even a trophy room where you can interact with them, using your little robot hands to turn on a gigantic PSP Go, or hop on the eject button of an original PlayStation to see the lid pop open. Astro’s Playroom could easily have been a simple tech demo, and in a way it is that.
The titular robot, Astro, jumps, glides, fights, and more through four levels based on different aspects of the PS5 hardware. Astro’s Playroom is the perfect game to play first to kick off the PlayStation 5 generation. It’s a fluid and fun 3D platformer sure, but it being built around showing off what the DualSense controller can add to gaming Is what really starts to make it special. Add in all of the PlayStation love letters scattered about inside these worlds and you have another magical, must-play experience from Team Asobi.
